Spider Girl Costumes are a favorite at Halloween time.  There is something of a juxtaposition here, as usually girls tend to shy away from creepy spiders.  Spiderman costumes enjoy great popularity, so why not a spider girl costume?

Spiders use their spider silk for creating spider webs to catch flying insects.  The insects don’t see the fine thread and get trapped in its sticky consistency when the fly into it.  The spider can feel the pressure of the newly entrapped insect and they run out and spin a tight binding cocoon like encasement around the bug and save them for eating at a later time- a spider pantry if you will!
