Child spider costumes are bountiful in the days leading up to Halloween, but they can be difficult to find as we get closer and closer to October 31st.  If your toddler wants to be a spider this year, then take a look a these great costumes:

This itsy bitsy toddler spider costume is a real show off in his top had and white gloves.

There are six arms/legs that are connected to they move simultaneously with your toddler’s arms in the top pair of legs.  The other two of eight legs are where your child puts their own legs.  Each of the arms has its own white glove.

The belly is round and fat, just like a spider and he is wearing an attached blue dress vest and  bright green tie.  Paired with the top hat, you child can do the spider shuffle as a trick for their treat.

Its the amazing spider girl!  She has no fear in her bright pink costume dress that has a sporty pink, layered skirt that sparkles.  The top of the costume has a pretty hot pink accent color with webbing and a spider in the center of her chest.

Once she puts on her thin shiny eye mask, she is no longer you daughter, but Spider Girl!  Add some pink glitter tights to keep her legs warm on a cool Halloween evening.  And maybe just a little glitter make-up too.

This outfit comes in size that range from 3T all the way up to kids size 12.

Ya gotta love a battery operated fiber optic Spiderman costume!  This is so cool.  The spider emblem on the chest as well as the trim around the eyes lights up with tiny fiber optic lights to glow in the dark!

This is an official Marvel Heros costume and comes complete with the body suit in the traditional blue and red with black web details, as well as the pull over head mask.  You might look into getting the child spiderman gloves and maybe even some red boot covers to complete the costume look.

Itsy-Bitsy spider is a children’s nursery rhyme story that is also known as Incy Wincy Spider.  It actually became an animated cartoon on USA Cartoon Express for a while too.

What is our fascination with spiders?  Is it their eight hairy legs? Or that they are so mysterious in that the seem to pop up out of nowhere from some dark crack.  Perhaps it is their incredible ability to spin silken webs?  What every they are, they are so creepy that there is actually a phobia named after them- arachnophobia.
